Ammon Cunningham Wants You to Visit Canyonlands

June 21, 2017
Ammon Cunningham is a very prolific writer, as well as an avid traveler, which is why he has so many favorite travel destinations to recommend. He particularly loves touting his home state of Utah as a travel destination because there is so much to see. Everyone who enjoys travel wants to see the most beautiful places in the world, and Utah is chock full of great destinations. For example, every traveler should take a look at Canyonlands National Park.

Often referred to as the Utah Grand Canyon because many of the views are just as spectacular, Canyonlands National Park features a variety of magnificent views, whether you want to see the carved canyons below or the breathtaking views of snowcapped mountains above (and usually off in the distance). Canyonlands sees more than 600,000 visitors every year, and there is a reason for that. Not only are there great things to look at, says Ammon Cunningham, but there is a lot to do, as well. Canyonlands National Park is one of the most popular recreational destinations in Utah, primarily because both the Green and Colorado Rivers both run through its center, which means that kayaking, whitewater rafting, camping and the like are always an option, in addition to the myriad challenging hiking trails that crisscross all of Canyonlands National Park.
Ammon Cunningham is a blogger and avid traveller. He enjoys writing about travel destinations in Utah and beyond.
