The Ammon Cunningham View of Canyonlands National Park

December 15, 2016
For blogger and avid traveler Ammon Cunningham, Utah is not only his home state, but a state full of amazing destinations for travelers worldwide. Because he likes to share his love of Utah, he wants to tell you about Canyonlands National Park. Located in the southeast corner of Utah, Canyonlands is commonly referred to as Utah's Grand Canyon. That’s because the views can be just as incredible, whether they are the amazing vistas overlooking the canyons below or the beautiful snowcapped mountain views. There is a reason the park sees more than 630,000 visitors annually.

In addition to the scenery in the main section of the park, other districts are more remote but worth the hike, including Mesa Arch, which is especially stunning during sunrise and White Rim Road, a winding dirt road along sheer cliffs, featuring dramatic drops as it descends into the valley below.

Ammon Cunningham also notes that Canyonlands National Park is a popular recreational destination in Utah because both the Green River and Colorado River run through it, which means swimmers, kayakers and whitewater rafters will find a lot to do. There is something for nearly everyone.
